A Villainous note from the Artist
Greetings Villains!! If you hadn’t guessed whose gravestone that is that Matthew’s pissing on, I suggest you go all the way back to issue 2 of the series. Ashley Drake is Matthew’s wife, who in issue 2, blamed him for everything that happened to their children and straight up bounced. Somehow, between the past and now, she ended up dead and is laid to rest by their children. You can see by today’s page the love that Matthew has for her. So much love that he feels the need to shower her gravestone with bodily fluids. Are you having a hard time eeping up? It’s easy. Purple and gray tones: you are in the past. Full color palette: you are in the present, meaning right this damn minute Matthew is pissing on her gravestone. Got it? It’s pretty damn simple, even my five year old can follow along. Not that I let her read it. I swear I don’t.
At the end of October we will be Special Guests at Campbell Con! It will be this Saturday October 29 at the Campbell Community Center in Campbell, CA! You can come by and score some villainous swag. Issues 1-5 will be for sale as well as our new t-shirt design! I will also be selling my own artwork and doing commissions. We hope to see everyone there!
